A Layman's Guide to the Liturgy of the Hours - I think of this as a follow up to The Everyday Catholic's Guide to the Liturgy of the Hours. If you were not convinced before to start praying the LOTH, Fr. Gallagher will give you all the tools and reasons to start.
The Little Oratory - Not only is this a great book for inspiration to grow your prayer corner/chapel/"Little Oratory", it is also a great resource for those of us that are further along. David Clayton and Leila Lawler don't just show you how to set up a prayer corner, etc. but also how to use it, why you should use it, and the historical reasons for having one.
Ordo - I suggest every family have a copy of their local Ordo. It gives you the Order of Prayer in the Liturgy of the Hours and Celebration of the Eucharist. It contains the Necrology for your Diocese, Daily Readings, Data on Saints' Lives, Homily Suggestions. Liturgical Color for the Day. Available in many formats:
Instructiones fabricate et supellectilis - English translation of St. Charles Borromeo’s text on a proper construction, placement, etc of Ecclesial items, following the Council of Trent.
